    Pre Tests are essential preperation for a successful Test Day

    Common driving faults

    • Poor observation at junctions, not making effective observation turning left and right at junctions.
    • Incorrect road positiong is a common fault, this could be in the wrong lane for a turn or staying in the right lane for too long.
    • Moving off safely is essential for safe driving and is a common fault in the driving test.
    • Correct mirror use is essential for safe driving, learners fail to use mirrors correctly, timely and in conjunction with blind spots.
    • Vechicle control while moving off, learners fail test due to poor vechicle control while moving off.
    • Traffic light response, incorrect judgement of traffic lights, failing to understand light sequence, anticipation.
    • Poor reaction to hazzards, awareness and anticipation of hazzards.
    • Not positioning the car correctly at roundabouts.
    • Speed to fast, not obeying speed limits and also going too slow therefore not making progress.
    • Incorrect signal or incorrect signakl timing.
    • Hesitation, undue hesitation and failing to progress due to lack of awareness, vechicle control.
    • Confusion at junctions, unable to recognise different types of junctions.
    • Wrong positioning turning right or left
    • Coasting and failing to maintain control of car.
